Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using VoidPort ("Service"), operated by VoidMind ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

VoidPort provides TCP/UDP tunnel services that allow users to expose local servers to the internet without port forwarding. The Service includes relay servers, a web dashboard, and CLI client software.

The website, dashboard, and API are served from voidport.app. Public tunnel addresses use hostnames under voidport.net (for example nbg1.voidport.net:30123).

VoidPort acts solely as a transport provider. We relay network traffic between your local server and the internet. We do not inspect, monitor, modify, or store the content of data passing through our relays. We are a "mere conduit" as defined under applicable telecommunications and digital services regulations.

3. User Accounts

To use the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Providing accurate and current information
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for all content and traffic transmitted through your tunnels. VoidPort does not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for any content you expose via the Service.

You represent and warrant that your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws, including but not limited to laws regarding data protection, intellectual property, and computer crimes.

5. Acceptable Use

Your use of the Service is governed by our Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms. The AUP defines prohibited activities including but not limited to:

  • Illegal activities and content
  • Network attacks (DDoS, botnets, malware)
  • Spam and phishing
  • Copyright infringement
  • Service abuse and circumvention

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or the AUP without prior notice or refund. We may also report illegal activities to law enforcement.

6. Service Plans and Payments

VoidPort offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial months or unused bandwidth.

7. Usage Limits

Each plan has limits on tunnels, bandwidth, and concurrent connections. Exceeding these limits may result in throttling or temporary service suspension. Persistent abuse may result in account termination.

8. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We may suspend or modify the Service for maintenance, updates, or security reasons without prior notice.

We may suspend or terminate any tunnel or account at any time, for any reason, without prior notice. This includes but is not limited to suspected abuse, legal requirements, or business decisions. You have no contractual right to continued access.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, and documentation, is owned by VoidMind and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES REGARDING THE RELIABILITY, AVAILABILITY, OR PERFORMANCE OF THE SERVICE. USE THE SERVICE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VOIDMIND SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR THIRD-PARTY CLAIMS.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PRECEDING 12 MONTHS, OR EUR 100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless VoidMind and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Content transmitted through your tunnels
  • Violation of these Terms or the AUP
  • Violation of any third-party rights
  • Any illegal activity conducted through the Service

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of material changes via email or dashboard notice.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Stuttgart, Germany.
